The Study of State and Local Implementation and Impact of the
Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, SLIIDEA, has been
designed as a national assessment to examine how the changes in
the 1997 IDEA amendments are affecting states, districts, and
schools, as well as infants, toddlers, children and youth with
disabilities and their families.
Currently, four waves of surveys have been completed.
Waves 1, 2 and 4 included states, and representative samples of
districts & schools. Wave 3 included states only. To access the data tables from
those surveys, first select the Wave that you are interested in:
You may also view the Wave 1 tables and related discussion in the Final
Report on Selected Findings and the Final Interim Report -
1999-2000 School Year, both of which are available on the Reports
page. Copies of survey instruments are available for download on the
Data Collection Instruments page.
